The Three Thieves are Joel Gott, Charles Bellier and Roger Scommegna, all old hands in the California wine world and all of the long-held philosophy that great wine isn’t a privilege reserved for the few; it’s a pleasure that belongs to all. A classic California wine, Three Thieves is 100% cabernet sauvignon, sourced from the Monterey County and Lodi regions. Just over a third of the wine is aged in old American oak barrels lending hints of warm spice and vanilla. On the nose there are aromas of blackcurrant and cherry dark berry, which follow through onto the palate with dark fruit and hints of spice.
