Best known for the "wonky bottle", this Côtes-du-Rhône form La Brotte is blended from the classic Rhone combination of Grenache and Syrah to provide an accessible, early drinking style without being overly tannic or full bodied. The value for money that this wine delivers is superb. The nose has intense aromas of red fruits and spice, with subtle pepper and herb notes, a small amount of oak aging means the tannins are smooth and well rounded accompanied by rich savoury cassis and blackberry briars enhancing the jammy flavours.
