This cooperative was started by a group of small producers in Hunawihr in 1954, but today has member growers throughout the Alsace heartland. Winemaking is headed by Nicolas Garde, an Alsace-born winemaker, schooled in Burgundy and New Zealand. On the nose the glass is full of ripe peach & apricot aromas, this follows through to the palate with plenty of citrus zest and a crisp fruity mineral taste, braced by a steely acidity.
